Japanisches Restaurant Fukuya in Waldshut-Tiengen

Just terrible! Eternal waiting for food, you can do without all you can eat at the moment, because what comes and what comes and that takes an extremely long time ... I am very disappointed

Good sushi! We went here for dinner. You can use the all-you-can-eat offer or eat à la carte. Orders are placed via tablet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dishes are served quickly and cleared away quickly. The corona protective measures are consistently implemented. There is enough space between the tables. I can highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

The environment is good. Food is satisfactory in general, for the price. Minus one star for not having sashimi (maybe the menu could be adjusted). The day we went the food was not the freshest. I got diarrhea the next day because I have a weak stomach. The freshness can improve. 5 stars for the service and hospitality of the staff.

The service is great and the concept with the tablet is great! The sushi is a pleasure and the dumplings have to be tried. All dishes are freshly prepared and cannot be compared to other all u can eat restaurants where everyone reaches into the counter and the food stands around openly. Also suitable for children +++ PP is available in front of the door and the prices are absolutely OK. The place is clean. We have been to visit several times and satisfied every time.

Great sushi !! Really tasty and quick at the table! Service was also very warm and friendly. You felt welcome ? The drinks should be a little cheaper (table water around € 4.50). Otherwise great and I would like to come back often. You can reorder as often as you want, but only 5 plates per person at a time, that's enough and leads to less food waste! Good attitude! ??

Nice all you can eat restaurant after the Swiss border. The restaurant doesn't have a lot to do with Japan, just a run-of-the-mill Asia shop. A little of everything. The order is made via an Ipad, which is practical, but you only have 2 hours. That's enough in and of itself, but it's still a little uncomfortable. The food is okay, the cold better than the warm. The conditions were very friendly and the place was clean. There is not much more to say.

If the restaurant is not very busy, it is great. As soon as there are a few more guests, the staff is overwhelmed and the waiting times are enormous.

The food is quite good, not outstanding. Individual dishes are very tasty. But definitely no comparison to Reisstyle. While the Fukuya offers all you can eat at a decent price, it makes up for it with very expensive drinks. Next time I prefer rice style or Fuya.

Perfect for all Swiss shopping tourists. Food is very good, prices are ok. Ambiente is ok-ish (still looks like an old German restaurant in some corners). Service was fast and friendly. You can also order a la carte, which is even cheaper if you are not extremely hungry...

Sushi is good for the price

Great food! In addition to the wide range of diverse sushi creations, there were also delicious dumplings and fried foods. The fish tasted fabulous and the prices were reasonable too! The system with the iPad was something else for us and it gave us a certain amount of fun ordering it. The service was friendly and recommended delicious dishes. Very anticipate! Everyone should definitely have tried it. We will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting !!!

Chopsticks were used and dirty at the table given to us. We tried to tell it to the waiters but they didn’t understand/can’t even speak German. Meat is horrible. This restaurant in Lörrach is way more better when it comes to quality of food and cleanliness than in this one in Waldshut. Will definitely be our last time eating here.

Very nice staff. Clean. Good sushi. All you can eat can be ordered continuously with the Ipad, so always freshly prepared. But has its price.

Fast serving, not much sushi to choose from..

Worst sushi I've ever ate in my life. Rice wasn't cooked and didn't seemed fresh. The salmon didn't taste fresh as well... The warm dishes were really greasy, like dumplings and other tempura stuff... They have a strange system for the all you can eat, where you can order at maximum 5 items in the menu at every 15 minutes, and everything seems to be pre-cooked cause I comes at your table 2 minutes after you order it.

Service was nice. food was mediocre to bad. Quality of dishes varies, which makes it hard to order the same item multiple times, because you don’t if you’ll like it again. Pricing for all you can eat is very okay though (point of reference: switzerland) ordering via iPad works pretty well. Prices for drinks were a bit on the expensive side. (Nearly 4€ for a 33cl Coke Zero).

Delicious - sympathetic - excellent. Great experience. The "All you can eat" is particularly worthwhile. For 24.90 you get a rich selection of food in optimal portion sizes, to try a lot and end up being more than full. The preparation is perfect and convinces with attention to detail. Every dish was delicious. The service is personable, courteous and professional. The ambience is stylishly discreet and pleasant. Light and music are also right. You get used to ordering via iPad quickly. The bottom line is the Fukuya in Waldshut our new supraregional favorite among the Asians.
